We will be doing the 4 Pass Loop in September. When we pack out we would like to get cleaned up before heading home. Is there a KOA or something similar nearby that offers showers (soap, towels) for pay?

There's a place in Aspen where you can get showers cheap.  I'm sure somebody will remember it, but I can't.

I can't remember the exact name of the place but on the road out to the trailhead there's the Aspen Recreation Center (or something like that) where you can get a shower.

The Aspen Recreation Center.

0861 Maroon Creek Road
Aspen, CO 81611
(970) 544-4100

It must be a brand new location because when we went, it was in the center of town.

Aha, the one we went to is now referred to as the Red Brick Recreation Center and it is on Hallam St.

Red Brick Recreation Center
110 East Hallam Street, Suite 135
Aspen, Co 81611
970.920.5140

I would call both, but I suspect the main rec (the new one) will be more convenient (parking wise).

Have fun!

The Aspen Rec Center is new, we showered there last summer after doing the Loop. Very easy to find and nice and clean. I think it was $5/person and we brought our own towels but you could rent them as well.

Great views for relatively little effort.  I recommend taking naps at the passes.

MsDoolittle would have smacked you if her arms were long enough.  I agree with the naps, though.
