I'd seen that posted on f-b a bunch, but never watched the clip, as I've seen them hunting quite a bit .. but the info about magnetic north is amazing .. glad I watched it, and thanks for posting it.

It is so much fun to watch a fox or coyote go about mousing. I heard about the magnetic north thing a few years ago - still blows my mind!

Took some photos of this guy last year .... this was his highest jump. A very fun half hour!

Yeah, definitly neat. I watched the whole program and the bit about magnetic north is wild. They claim pidgeons fly home by using magnetic line flux too. Its so outside our realm of understanding I'm surprized anyone noticed. Ya gotta love nature.
