What's his reason for keeping the badgers in?  I'm inclined to say just let them go and be the badgers that they are.

Because humans enjoy imprisoning innocent animals and tormenting them for fun.

Note the many hundreds of public zoos for proof.

That's the first thing I thought of. Apparently its not going very far when it gets out. Let it roam around like a dog.

It reminds me of my cockatoo. That bird could open any padlock and once disassembled my tv remote and left all the tiny buttons and the batteries and the cover to the batteries in a straight line on the floor followed by the unbroken figurines he had carried down from on top the shelves in the room

But yeah. In hind site wild animals like that would be better off left wild except for the fact that seeing them in captivity teaches many people to Re who would otherwise never give them a thought

Apparently Stuffles' home in the vid is a 1200 acre reserve used for the rehabilitation of animals that have been injured. The beginning of the vid mentions that the badger had been severly mauled by a lion. I think old Stuffles gets a pretty good run of the place anyhow. The way he hangs around he probably doesn't feel like leaving.  :)
