The past 3 weeks I've been busy on weekends with packing up to move; the move itself; and now all the unpacking and getting settled. Today I decided it's Easter Sunday, so I am going to GET OUTSIDE. I needed fresh air and a good walk. Plus, Mtngrl told me she saw pasque flowers last weekend, so I had to get out and see them for myself  :) Seeing pasque flowers means Spring is really here (although we will probably see more snow before it is all said and done). I also saw sand lilies, so it really, truly is Spring in Colorado Springs!

The willows were budding, too

I'm not positive, but I think this is some kind of current

Plus some lovely yellow color (don't know what they are)

And trees starting to leaf out

Where'd you go? We have Spring in the valley here, I'm gonna go walk the Elk Refuge Road. Maybe I'll take the camera. Thanks for sharing young lady.

Spring!  We saw the first daffodils and violets on our walk today.  The forsythias are starting, too.

I've probably aged my knees an extra week or two trying to get good closeups on those.

Pasque flower

Yay, it's official  !  That's always my first "real" sign of Spring too.
