Got this for my birthday.  While not a description of particularly difficult hikes, it's a nice cross section of beautiful hikes from all parts of North America - from Alaska's Brooks Range to the Canadian Rockies to the Grand Canyon to Florida and all places in between.  Great photos and while I noticed some inaccuracies (i.e. the highest moutain in Montana is Granite Peak, not Gardner Peak), it made for nice reading and wonderful dreaming.  I enjoyed it as an armchair traveler and although I've done several of the hikes, who knows, maybe in the future I'll be inspired to do even more.  Not a bad bucket list.
