Had pain in right heel got it xrayed Doc told me it was heel spurs BUMMER. Is thier some kind of a special pad or donut that i insert in my boot so when my heel lands it will not hurt so much. Worst well i have to get new boots?

Try cutting your own donut from a couple layers of moleskin or molefoam.  It will hardly cost anything and you'll at least find out whether something like that can ease the pain.

Superfeet inserts provided relief for me.  The high arch took pressure off my heel.

Mine required custom orthotics, at about $400. I had to wear them every day for a bit over 2 years but can go without them now. I still make sure I know where they are just in case but so far, so good a year later.

Heel spurs.  Did he suggest what the cause of it was?  Or how to keep the condition from getting worse?  Did he say the spur was the cause of the pain? That would be relatively rare.

He talk to you about plantar facicitis?  
About stretching/exercising the tendons below the knee to the toe?
About rest, Ibuprofen and ice?

Search on the Internet for "plantar facicitis heel spur". Lots of information and things to do.

Dr. said got heel spurs from old age etc. which is painfull, recomend specialst cant afford it. well try to take care of problem myself. Thank you guys with great INFO.
