Hey all.  Just curious what all the runners use for a wind shell.  On the coast on Maine, it is just about mandatory for one.  30 degrees this am and blowing 30 knots.  I am looking for a full zip and Hi-vis green would be nice.  Any ideas?  Oh and not too expensive.

Thanks, John

Hey bad knees I have a Mizuno vest with a wind shell front and a mesh back that I like and use but only when its really windy. I run warm and it lets the heat out nicely. Don't know what it cost since it was gifted to me. I also use my Sugoi windshell with removable sleeves when it starts getting really chilly low 20's and below. They attach with magnets and works surprisingly well taking  them off or
on in the middle of a run. It was around $100.00 if I recall. They aren't high vis, for that I use my high vis safety vest over the other clothes. High vis safety vest lets me buy any thing I like especially on sale clothes. Craft makes some really nice stuff and when I wear out what I have I'll be looking at more of it. I XX ski so it'll get double duty use.

I have a Golite jacket I picked up on sale for $40.00.  On sale for $30.00 right now.  Technically a soft shell, so it might not be quite as good with wind as other jackets.
Jacket.
