I'm really enjoying the spin class at my gym, but I'm about to move and have to cancel my membership.  Until I join another gym (if I do) I'd like to replicate spin class on my own and I'm looking for a download or app to use.  Something with music that also tells me when to add gear, speed up, slow down, etc.

Anyone have a recommendation?

I'm not a cyclist, so hills and reps and all that are foreign terms - I like someone just yelling "faster" :)

Just make a mix of music with different beats. Pedal fast during the fast-tempo parts, and crank up the resistance and mash the pedals during the slow-tempo parts.

Thanks, not what I asked for, though.

Yes, that's it!  Send me your phone #, I'll call you from the bike.  :D

I was looking for personal experience, as I did find my own using search engines.  Thanks!

Eric - yes, I recall an exchange between us - I am booked for a GC trip next September (yes, 2015) and am still mulling my options to get out there and back.  I will be helo'd out to Vegas at the end, so thinking train to Flagstaff and then flying home from Vegas.  I think I have to meet in Flagstaff, so I don't actually have to worry about getting myself to the GC (11 day raft trip - WOO!)

$2K?  That's more than I spent on all my bikes together!  Only one of them is from the 2000's but still...
